If your organization is looking for a ‘project’ for your team members, we have a few existing opportunities: Our mock trials have laundry and sewing-upkeep requirements, and our fieldtrips require large group trainings and would benefit from group-volunteerism. Of course, we are always open to working with you to create a unique volunteer experience that benefits your employees’ strengths as well.
Project REAL’s resources are not just valuable for the students of Nevada. All across America, our nation’s residents – adults and youth alike – are held to the legal standard that ‘ignorance of the law is not a defense for breaking it’. The same holds true of our work promoting community investment – it doesn’t matter where you live: if you contribute to a community, you are less likely to do things that harm it like breaking the law.
