Following a successful state-wide initiative in October that funded service to more than 150 students during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Hope & Hospitality returns exclusively to Northern Nevada this February for National Teen Dating Violence Prevention Month.
During this month-long campaign, craft food & beverage businesses throughout Northern Nevada are partnering up with Project REAL to prevent domestic violence among the teens of Northern Nevada’s counties through education.
Each partner has set a charitable item in support of the work being done to prevent domestic violence by educating teens about red flags, cyclical abuse, and other information that can help them leave relationships long before they become abusive, toxic, or downright dangerous.
When a charitable item is sold, at least $1 from that sale will be donated to Project REAL as part of our HOPE + HOSPITALITY Campaign. With orange being the color representing Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, you'll notice many of our partners have incorporated orange ingredients into their charitable items.
Funds raised by the campaign will be used to provide Northern Nevada’s teens with evidence-based interactive experiences that actively prevent domestic violence among teens and young independent adults.
